Yes we are! We provide you with an Eco-friendly service that cleans sanitizes, disinfects, and deodorizes your trash cans without the use of harmful chemicals. Each trash can cleaning only requires approximately 3 gallons of water sand 3-5 minutes to clean. The do it yourself with a garden hose method would use 12-18 gallons more water, more time and effort! At Happy Cans of Volusia County, we keep your trash cans clean while staying green!

You will know by the freshness of your can and by how they are placed after cleaning, our technician will bring your can from the curb to your house, normally it will be placed at the front of your garage or car port.

Happy Cans utilizes an 18-stage proprietary filtering system to recycle the water back through the system to be reused. Much of it is evaporated off in the form of steam during the cleaning process. When we do drain the water, we dispose of our recycled water properly following state, county and municipality guidelines. No used water will ever be dumped in unauthorized sewers, septic systems, in your yard, rivers, streams, or in other tributaries to ensure the safety of the environment. Proper disposal makes for a happy, healthy environment!

No! There are no contracts when you choose Happy Cans of Volusia County! You are free to cancel your cleaning service at any time.  We believe that if we keep our clients happy by providing a quality service, there won’t be any reason to lock them into a contract!

Trash cans must be empty and free of all trash except for any small bits stuck to the sides or bottom of the can. If there is any animal waste and /or kitty litter, we will not be able to clean the cans because of possible contamination of the equipment and the health hazard posed to our technicians. Cans must also be free of cooking and motor oils, and must also be free of paints, solvents, chemicals, or other hazardous waste due to the introduction of residue from such contaminates into wastewater treatment plants is not allowed and would be ecologically unsound. Although we want nothing more than to offer you our cleaning service and clean your cans, the well-being of our employees and the community, the serviceability of our equipment and adherence to state, county and municipality regulations must be a primary consideration.

If when we arrive we find the can(s) have not been emptied yet, if we are working that area our technician return at a later time or they will bag your refuse in a heavy-duty industrial strength contractor trash bag(s), place the bag(s) in the designated pickup spot and deliver your cleaned, sanitized, disinfected and deodorized trash can(s) at or near your residence. .

We email our clients a reminder the evening before a scheduled service and we text a reminder the morning of the scheduled service. But, if you do miss a day, we’ll take care of it when possible on a subsequent refuse pick up day.

We will send you a confirmation of service email/text to notify of your first cleaning and what subsequent pickup day trash can cleanings will be completed. We  try to get you on our trash can cleaning schedule as soon as possible  after signup. Sometimes it can take up to 3 weeks for us to get you on  schedule due to the logistics of cleaning trash cans behind so many  different city, municipal and and private company solid waste pickup schedules / routes!

Sorry, but no. Our pricing accommodates two cans and additional cans, can be added to your plan for an small additional charge.. Trash cans covered under service will be identified by our Happy Cans sticker. Only cans that are tagged will be cleaned on our routes. YES! You can log into the Client Hub and refer as many friends, neighbors or co-workers as you want. If they use your referral link to signup for service,  you’ll receive a credit towards your current service also!

At this time there are no referral limits, so you could be getting  your trash can cleaned for FREE with enough successful referrals!
